Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accountant to join our team and help support our small business clients. This role is pivotal in supporting growth-minded entrepreneurs and mission-driven nonprofits to reach their business goals through proactive financial management and consulting.

In Short

• Manage and nurture client relationships while collaborating with the delivery team.
• Design and deliver exemplary accounting services.
• Become proficient in various accounting software platforms, especially QuickBooks Online.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and fraud prevention measures.

• Meet weekly billable hours goals while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to adapt to various accounting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with fraud prevention and internal controls.

Benefits

• Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
• Annual Bonus: Up to 10% of salary.
