Trust Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Trust Accountant will be responsible for the financial control and reporting of trust accounts across Australian states, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Manage daily trust account transactions using JDE.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports.
• Maintain the Bank Reconciliation Control Sheet.
• Process trust receipts, payments, and transfers.
• Manage annual trust account audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal control structures.
• Conduct regulatory compliance reporting.
• Engage in ad hoc activities and project involvement.

Requirements

• Tertiary Finance qualification.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for Property Agents and Trust Accounts.
• High proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with JDE and Blackline preferred.
• Business partnering experience beneficial.
• Experience in procedure and process ownership.
• Ability to manage outsourced providers.
