Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Accountant role involves managing financial records, payroll processing, and compliance for an Australian client while working remotely from the Philippines.

In Short

• Prepare and process payroll for Australian employees.
• Manage BAS and compliance with Australian tax laws.
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero and QuickBooks.
• Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience in the Australian market.
• Strong knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, and Simpro.
• Experience with payroll, BAS preparation, and financial reporting.
• Understanding of Australian tax laws and Fair Work standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
