Accountant - Remote

Overview

Procore is looking for an Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll perform daily tasks, account analysis, and month-end closing activities to support the Accounting team.

In Short

• Support daily and monthly accounting functions to ensure accuracy
• Prepare general ledger entries and maintain records
• Analyze and present findings to management
• Recommend changes to current procedures for efficiency
• Answer accounting questions by researching data
• Prepare financial reports by analyzing general ledger information
• Support month, quarter, and year-end close processes
• Provide documentation to external auditors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Proficient in English
• Experience at a large accounting firm or industry
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems like NetSuite
• Detail-oriented with large volumes of data
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Planning and organizational skills
