Accountant - Remote

Overview

As Storable continues to grow both organically and through acquisition, we are searching for an Accountant with strong accounting skills and experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment.

In Short

• Support timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Ensure proper approvals and documentation for invoices, expense reports, and check requests.
• Report accounting transactions accurately in accordance with GAAP principles.
• Assist with year-end audits and corporate tax requests.
• Implement process improvements and automate manual processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA a plus (or progress towards certification).
• Experience with insurance and SaaS accounting preferred.
• Prior experience with Quickbooks and NetSuite preferred.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
