Accountant - Remote

Overview

As an Accountant at EcoVadis, you will play a crucial role in the Finance department, ensuring effective operations and processes that support sustainable business practices.

In Short

• Book accounts payable and expense claims for various entities.
• Monitor invoice payment deadlines and prepare payments.
• Book bank statements for received and outgoing payments.
• Respond to vendor requests and clear accounts payable.
• Prepare and book journal entries, including prepayments and accruals.
• Participate in month-end closings and general ledger activities.
• Cooperate with external accountants.
• Assist with ad hoc requests as needed.

Requirements

• 4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Fluency in Polish and English.
• Educational background in accounting or economics is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in an accounting office and knowledge of Polish GAAP is a plus.
