IT Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

The IT Security Analyst at eXp Realty plays a critical role in monitoring, administering, and improving the company's security posture in a cloud-first infrastructure.

In Short

• Monitor and resolve security events from various technologies.
• Automate security processes and streamline risk reporting.
• Conduct security assessments and manage alerts.
• Champion security awareness campaigns and policy reviews.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for security technologies.
• Participate in training for better understanding of supported technologies.
• Assist in SOC assessment reviews.
• Collaborate with IT Security Staff and other contractors.
• Produce regular security metrics reports and updates.
• Support security projects and assist in training initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT security or a related role.
• General understanding of Security Operations and IT Governance.
• In-depth knowledge of endpoint security configurations.
• Strong understanding of Google Workspace security settings.
• Familiarity with security industry frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Ability to perform IT Security audit analysis and reporting.
• Prior experience in a SOC or customer support team.
• Knowledge of security standards such as DLP, EDR, RBAC.
• Security industry certification is a plus (CompTIA, Security+, etc.).
