In Short

• Lead and support a team of engineers on the data team.
• Spend 50% of your time on direct technical contributions, shifting to 25% over time.
• Partner with technical leads to shape and execute the roadmap for data integration.
• Oversee performance reviews and support career development plans.
• Contribute to the development of scalable data systems using AWS tools.
• Drive adoption of best practices in engineering and process optimization.
• Build a collaborative and feedback-rich culture.
• Encourage a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
• Mentor and support engineers in their growth.
• Engage with new technologies and process improvements.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience as a direct manager.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services.
• Strong programming experience in Python, Java, and TypeScript.
• Experience with containerized environments, particularly Docker.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-centered and action-oriented mindset.
• Experience in the Education/Non-Profit Sector is a plus.
