Overview

The Rare Disease Account Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a business plan to maximize territory sales for TARPEYO, focusing on nephrology and rare diseases.

In Short

  • Promote and educate healthcare professionals on Calliditas Therapeutics' products.
  • Adhere to ethical sales practices and compliance guidelines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Handle objections and drive logical calls to action.
  • Travel throughout the territory as needed.
  • Report sales activities and territory expenses accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members while working independently.
  • Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Five years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Experience in nephrology or rare diseases is required.
  • Proficiency with specialty drugs via HUB distribution model preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills and business acumen.
  • Ability to adapt selling approach to customer styles.
  • Experience in territory management and team collaboration.
  • Ability to sell both in-person and virtually.
  • Approximately 60% travel expectation.
  • Meet HCIR credentialing requirements.
