Senior Field Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Field Engineer will conduct on-site evaluations of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards, requiring extensive travel and strong technical skills.

• Conduct on-site Field Evaluations of electrical equipment.
• Travel 100% domestically and internationally.
• Review construction and engineering of electrical equipment.
• Communicate with clients and relevant parties.
• Document inspection details and non-conformances.
• Assess compliance with UL, NFPA, CSA, and ANSI standards.
• Issue final reports and manage billing documentation.
• Meet minimum billing goals while adhering to deadlines.
• Build client relationships and promote company services.
• Maintain compliance with safety and health measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Direct Field Engineering experience with NRTL or FEB.
• Knowledge of UL and NFPA standards.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift 30+ pounds.
• Experience with diverse populations is a plus.
