Senior Field Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Field Engineer, you will conduct on-site Field Evaluations of electrical equipment for compliance to regulatory product safety standards, requiring 100% travel both domestically and internationally.

In Short

• Conduct Field Evaluations of electrical equipment.
• Perform construction and engineering reviews.
• 100% travel required, mostly within the lower 48 states.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and communicate with clients.
• Assess compliance with UL, NFPA, CSA, and ANSI standards.
• Document non-conformances during inspections.
• Issue final reports and manage billing documentation.
• Build relationships with clients and promote services.
• Meet project deadlines and billing goals.
• Work independently and solve problems effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Direct Field Engineering experience with NRTL or FEB.
• Familiarity with UL 508A, UL 61010-1, NFPA 70, and NFPA 79.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift 30+ pounds.
• Sound problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience with diverse populations is a plus.
