Senior Field Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Field Engineer, you will conduct on-site Field Evaluations of electrical equipment for compliance with regulatory product safety standards, involving significant travel both domestically and internationally.

• Conduct Field Evaluations for electrical equipment compliance.
• 100% travel required, primarily within the USA.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and communicate with clients.
• Assess compliance with UL, NFPA, CSA, and ANSI standards.
• Document construction details and non-conformances.
• Submit expenses and documentation for billing.
• Grow client relationships and promote company services.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills required.
• Work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and lift 30+ pounds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Field Engineering experience with a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory.
• Familiarity with UL 508A, UL 61010-1, NFPA 70, and NFPA 79.
• Strong electrical background and understanding of electrical systems.
• Experience with Hazardous Location and CSA standards is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
