Overview

The Genomics Sales Account Manager will be responsible for increasing sales in genomic service areas while working from a home office and traveling frequently across the territory.

In Short

  • Increase sales in genomic services including Next Generation Sequencing and Sanger Sequencing.
  • Develop a sales pipeline by identifying new projects and opportunities.
  • Conduct regular sales reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with sales team members for coordinated solutions.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships in academia and biotechnology.
  • Organize regional events for target groups.
  • Implement sales strategies in cooperation with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations and promote products.
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide monthly reports on sales activities and forecasts.

Requirements

  • BSc in a relevant scientific field or higher.
  • Experience in sales of genomics technology.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
  • High integrity and self-motivation.
  • Knowledge of genomic applications and analysis methods.
