Business Development Director (BioPharma Sales) - Remote

Overview

The Business Development Director is responsible for growing Eurofins Clinical Trials Solutions by generating revenue through recruiting regional biopharmaceutical clients in the West Coast territory.

In Short

• Manage regional BioPharma Business Development activities.
• Utilize D365 for documenting activities.
• Identify and develop new accounts in the assigned region.
• Travel up to 30% within the assigned territory.
• Meet or exceed annual New Contracts Quotas.
• Strong understanding of various BioPharma technologies.
• Guide clients through the sales process effectively.
• Deliver formal sales presentations to groups.
• Work with internal stakeholders for project management.
• Attend industry tradeshows.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in life science or business preferred; BA/BS required.
• 3+ years of Business Development experience preferred.
• 5+ years in Pharmaceutical or related fields.
• Ability to communicate technical material effectively.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in PC-based software programs.
• Goal-oriented with strong time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Willing to work outside normal business hours as needed.
