We are looking for a seasoned Staff Software Engineer who has deep experience working in large scale Databricks ecosystems.

In Short

• Lead and mentor data engineers and related roles.
• Design, build, and evolve scalable data architectures and pipelines.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes and data flows.
• Implement best practices in data quality and performance monitoring.
• Deliver analytical tools and data products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Drive process improvements for scalability and automation.
• Promote engineering best practices through testing and CI/CD.
• Work remotely within the Eastern time zone.
• Occasional travel for training and project meetings.

Requirements

• 10 years of relevant experience in software engineering.
• 2 years working in large scale Databricks implementation.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud-native data tools (Redshift, Glue, Airflow).
• Experience with containerization using Docker.
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD platforms.
• Strong communication skills.
• Pass public trust clearance through the U.S. Federal Government.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
