Overview

The Director Business Development will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving growth initiatives centered around EQT’s Transmission & Storage assets.

In Short

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the natural gas transmission and storage sector.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and expand the company’s market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify and evaluate potential projects and business opportunities that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements with customers and partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment on business development initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of business development activities, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in business development processes and strategies.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the natural gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of natural gas transmission and storage operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
