GIS Analyst I/II/III - Remote

Overview

The GIS Analyst I/II/III role involves technical, analytical, and administrative work developing and maintaining GIS software related to Midstream & Production. The position focuses on enhancing system efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring user satisfaction.

• Research, evaluate, and implement custom software solutions.
• Conduct advanced spatial analysis for end-user applications.
• Establish and conduct GIS Quality Control functions.
• Meet with end-user departments to understand user needs.
• Provide user support for GIS web and mobile applications.
• Provide GIS training for staff and vendors.
• Develop protocols for system access and data storage.
• Gather feedback on system performance and make adjustments.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance the overall GIS infrastructure.

Requirements

• 0-3 years minimum of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the natural gas industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn oil & gas operations.
• Knowledge of GIS web applications.
• Experience in developing and maintaining topologies; data creation, editing, and migration.
• Familiarity with spatial analysis, mapping, modeling, and reporting.
