Overview

The Technical Customer Support Specialist provides first-line technical support to employees and visitors, ensuring smooth operation of office technology and a positive user experience.

In Short

  • Provide first-level technical support regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues.
  • Install and configure computer hardware and software for new employees.
  • Maintain inventory of office technology equipment.
  • Assist with conference room setup and maintenance.
  • Respond to support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Document and track support requests using a ticketing system.
  • Provide basic training on office technology.
  • Collaborate with IT to resolve recurring issues.
  • Stay current with new technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in technical support.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems like Zendesk or Jira.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
