In Short

  • Meet and/or surpass sales targets for instrument sales, sequencing consumables, and related services.
  • Manage the customer sales process through phone, e-mail, web/remote conferencing, and limited on-site visits.
  • Work with other commercial teams to prospect and qualify sales leads.
  • Achieve and/or exceed all sales and leads targets assigned by commercial leadership.
  • Effectively manage all inbound/outbound communication with customers.
  • Maintain the Salesforce CRM database for accurate lead qualification and funnel management.
  • Establish and maintain a strong, positive, and productive relationship with customers.
  • Achieve daily customer phone contact objectives to deliver sales presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Molecular Biology/Genetics or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of cold-calling experience in the Life Sciences industry.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to mentor junior colleagues.
  • Experience with strategic selling and working with cross-functional teams.
  • 1-3 years of experience in prospecting, lead qualification, and account management.
  • Comfortable conducting presentations effectively and professionally.
