Overview

The Regional Sales Manager / Account Manager will drive new customer acquisition and generate revenue within the automotive dealership industry, utilizing their expertise in automotive technology sales.

  • Drive new customer acquisition and generate revenue in your assigned territory.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with dealership stakeholders.
  • Execute full-cycle sales strategies from lead generation to contract close.
  • Develop and maintain an effective sales plan with short- and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records and activity tracking in HubSpot.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
  • Represent Dominion at regional/state associations and industry events.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience selling to automotive dealerships, ideally in SaaS, DMS, or ancillary automotive tech.
  • Demonstrated success in territory sales and new business development.
  • Experience working with dealership decision-makers (GMs, Dealer Principals, Controllers).
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and pipeline management skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
  • Familiarity with Challenger Sales methodology is a plus.
  • Ability to travel within your region and occasionally for company-wide events.
