Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Coordinator / Medical Office Assistant to join our Post Transplant program team, facilitating care coordination for kidney transplant patients.

In Short

  • Full-time position available
  • Must reside in Atlanta Metro Area
  • Conduct initial outreach to new patients and gather intake information
  • Provide clear education regarding the transplant process
  • Serve as primary point of contact for patient inquiries
  • Perform blood draws and specimen collection
  • Maintain quality control standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers for patient care
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Support in scheduling appointments and managing patient records

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Completion of a 6-month Phlebotomy Certificate program
  • Minimum of one year phlebotomy experience
  • Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to react calmly in emergency situations
  • Proficient computer skills for data entry
  • Knowledge of safety hazards in medical settings
  • Demonstrated accurate blood draw skills
