Overview

The Sales & Business Development Representative will focus on selling specific products and services in the biopharma sector, acting as a subject matter expert to drive revenue and support sales teams.

In Short

  • Sell VWR biopharma product portfolio.
  • Identify and close new business opportunities.
  • Train and coach sales teams on technical product knowledge.
  • Attend industry events and training sessions.
  • Act as a technical expert contributing to product strategy.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and management.
  • Manage the BPP portfolio in the local area.
  • Ensure effective communication of sales goals and trends.
  • Engage in overnight travel as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS degree in a science area or equivalent experience.
  • 4-5+ years of industry/lab experience.
  • Proven record of exceeding sales forecasts.
  • Knowledge of Masterflex peristaltic pumps and aseptic technologies.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a matrixed environment.
  • Proactive and motivated self-starter.
  • Exhibit technical proficiency in multiple workflows.
  • Ability to drive sales and marketing programs.
  • Must be a consistent overall performer.
