Senior Process Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Opportunity: Avantor is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to work with business leaders on select projects and productivity process improvements that align with business goals and strategies. The Sr. Process Engineer uses analytical and industrial engineering methods and tools to understand, predict, improve, create and/or control logistics operations and processes.

In Short

• Full-time virtual/remote position with travel up to 25% as needed.
• Responsible for data management and analyzing performance.
• Identify problems and develop recommendations for logistics management.
• Manage data through various analytical methods.
• Write SOPs and training documents.
• Requires a college degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience required.
• SAP EWM experience desired.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite is essential.
• Excellent project and people management skills are needed.

Requirements

• Education: College Degree in relevant fields preferred.
• 3+ years of directly applicable experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methods.
• Strong understanding of logistics.
• Ability to motivate associates and manage relationships.
• Self-starter and detail-oriented.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
