Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team at a leading financial services and healthcare technology company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the install, design, implementation, and administration of the IBM Sterling Gateway product suite in distributed environments.

In Short

• Lead the installation and administration of the IBM Sterling Gateway product suite.
• Configure secure file transfer solutions and manage business processes.
• Oversee networking and communication protocols ensuring security compliance.
• Utilize SQL for database queries and troubleshooting.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Manage IBM Global Mailbox for disaster recovery scenarios.
• Develop Business Processes (BPML) based on customer requirements.
• Monitor and optimize file transfer performance using IBM Control Center.
• Handle security configurations, including certificates and encryption keys.
• Strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG).
• Expertise in BPML scripting for business process automation.
• Strong understanding of networking and security protocols related to file transfer.
• Basic proficiency in SQL (Oracle/MS Access).
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Preferred experience with IBM Global Mailbox for high-availability configurations.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of IBM Sterling PEM and SEAS.
