The Lead Software Engineer at Ciena will design, develop, and test software systems and products, focusing on both frontend and backend technologies in a collaborative environment.

Ability to work independently and in a team.
Good technical communication skills.
Understanding of programming theory and algorithms.
Knowledge of telecom domain technologies.
Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit.
Ability to create and extend GUI components.
