Network Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Network Data Analyst at Ciena is responsible for generating, presenting, and documenting network data analyses to assist customers in their network operations and transformation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven working experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of Python and common data science libraries.
• Experience in data visualization and software, particularly Tableau.
• Knowledge of network PM’s function and their data collection mechanisms.
• Collaborative mindset for remote teamwork.
• Knowledge of databases, especially graph databases (neo4j), is a plus.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and data analytics best practices.
• Experience with machine learning techniques is beneficial.
• Understanding of internet service provider operations is a plus.
