Network Recovery Senior Associate - Remote

In Short

• Respond to critical customer cases and engage directly with customers to recover service impacting conditions.
• Utilize expertise in Ciena optical network and/or routing and switching products to troubleshoot and resolve network outages.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve complex network issues.
• Document all actions taken and troubleshooting steps clearly.
• Adhere to established processes for incident management and service restoration.
• Produce initial/interim root cause analysis documentation.
• Participate in on-call weekend shifts on a rotational basis.
• Engage in lessons learned and best practice processes for network recovery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in a Ciena technical support role or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Ciena optical network and/or routing and switching products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and task prioritization.
• Availability for regular shifts and on-call weekend shifts.
• Preferred: Certifications related to Ciena products.
