Senior Associate IT Engineer Network - Remote

Overview

The Senior Associate IT Engineer Network will support, maintain, and configure global communications infrastructure, manage LAN/WLAN architecture, and perform telecommunications setup in a VoIP environment.

In Short

• Support and maintain global communications infrastructure.
• Manage and implement LAN/WLAN architecture.
• Conduct installations and upgrades by established policies.
• Coordinate telecommunications setup in a VoIP environment.
• Monitor and control network performance.
• Install and maintain network firewalls.
• Create documentation for local IT support.
• Research products and participate in vendor evaluations.
• Work with Principle Engineer Network on procedures.
• Travel to plants/offices globally may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience.
• 3 - 7 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure/network environments.
• Experience with switching and routing.
• Knowledge of LAN/WLAN architectures and routing protocols.
• Experience with network devices such as routers and switches.
• Ability to create detailed network diagrams and design documents.
• Familiarity with Telco tools.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
