Senior Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Sr. Network Engineer with Cologix, you will be responsible for assisting in the engineering, design, and maintenance of a large datacenter network.

In Short

• Evaluate and maintain traffic flows across transit and backbone links
• Provide Tier III support for network-related problems
• Troubleshoot backbone network issues
• Evaluate new technologies as needed
• Respond to escalated trouble tickets and customer calls
• Install hardware for network infrastructure
• Turn up high-touch customer deployments

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience as a network engineer
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage tasks with little supervision
• Quick learner who adapts to changing requirements
• Experience working in a team-based environment
• Good time management skills
• Diplomatic and positive approach to interactions
• Punctual, reliable, and flexible
