Overview

New Balance is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the design and implementation of digital product goals, ensuring high-quality technical solutions in a collaborative Agile environment.

In Short

Lead the design and implementation of digital product features.
Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert.
Participate in Agile development processes.
Review and approve code from engineers and testers.
Provide technical expertise for global eCommerce websites.
Coordinate with cross-functional tech leads and architects.
Enhance observability and monitoring of applications.
Ensure solutions meet accessibility and security requirements.
Lead analysis, design, and software development phases.
Drive improvements in technical practices.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience.
Experience with software development life cycle.
Proficient in JavaScript and C#/.NET Core.
Experience with Azure technologies.
Familiarity with building APIs and microservices.
Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Knowledge of integrations with various systems.
Experience with edge application firewall services.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to lead and mentor team members.
