Overview

The Sales Specialist II is responsible for cultivating customer relationships, understanding their business challenges, and determining how Dun & Bradstreet can provide value.

In Short

  • Be a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their business challenges.
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing ones through successful renewals.
  • Map D&B solutions to customer needs and demonstrate subject matter expertise.
  • Contribute to account-specific strategy through meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate product capabilities and create a customer-specific buying vision.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and product development teams.
  • Maintain accurate data in SFDC for account planning and forecasting.
  • Participate in Account Planning and Business Reviews as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in sales and revenue growth.
  • Ability to assess client environments and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Track record in managing complex sales and multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent business communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in sales methodology and tools like Salesforce and MS-Office.
  • Ownership mindset and problem-solving attitude.
  • Continuous growth mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Expected to travel onsite to customers at least 40% of the time.
