Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in health information management or related field preferred.
• Coding Certification from AHIMA required.
• 3-5 years of coding experience.
• Previous supervisory/team lead experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of coding compliance policies and guidelines.
• Ability to analyze and resolve system errors and workflow inefficiencies.
