In Short

• Author Postgres extensions for increased performance visibility
• Identify and contribute core changes to Postgres
• Develop heuristics and automated recommendations for customers’ workloads
• Build observability telemetry into client-side language drivers
• Lead development of greenfield tooling for the Postgres ecosystem
• Design and drive high-priority, high-visibility projects
• Provide technical leadership to the Database Monitoring team
• Grow the product’s adoption by 10X
• Define enduring architectures for a growing team

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with Postgres internals
• Direct contributions to Postgres or substantial contributions to relational database tooling
• Excitement about working with customers and understanding their workflows
• Experience leading impactful technical initiatives
