Overview

As a Solutions Architect on the Digital Natives team, you will work with leading data engineering, data science, and ML teams to push the boundaries of big data architectures.

In Short

• Partner with sales to provide technical leadership for customers.
• Drive technical discovery and solution design for new customers.
• Research and learn new technologies for implementation on Databricks.
• Consult on Big Data architectures and implement proof of concepts.
• Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects.
• Promote and recruit contributors for Databricks inspired open-source projects.
• Work with account executives to create account penetration strategies.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a data engineering, data science, or technical architecture role.
• Experience building distributed data systems.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in Data Engineering or Data Science technologies.
• Proven track record in hunter/greenfield roles.
• Strong executive presence to influence stakeholders.
• Available to travel to customers in your region.
• Degree in a quantitative discipline is desired.
• Databricks Certification is a plus.
