Overview

As a Senior Sales Engineer at Contentful, you will help customers understand the importance of content in a digital landscape, working closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle.

In Short

  • Participate in technical discovery and product presentations.
  • Build relationships with customer stakeholders.
  • Assist with RFIs, RFPs, and Security questionnaires.
  • Provide mentorship to junior Sales Engineers.
  • Travel onsite with customers as needed.
  • Drive sales revenue by co-piloting sales opportunities.
  • Understand customers’ digital objectives.
  • Conduct customized product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with various departments.
  • Engage in internal projects to enhance team performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of sales engineering experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Strong presentation and emotional intelligence skills.
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing and its KPIs.
  • Intellectual curiosity about technology's impact on business.
  • Experience with digital experiences and frontend development is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Platforms is desirable.
  • Prior experience with solution selling methodologies.
