Overview

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Confluent, you will be responsible for selling solutions to our Enterprise Accounts segment, utilizing your sales and leadership skills to meet and exceed quarterly sales targets.

In Short

  • Drive revenue growth in large, complex accounts
  • Prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close sales pipelines
  • Lead and execute strategic sales cycles at C-Level
  • Become an expert in Confluent offerings and competitive landscape
  • Understand customer strategies and become a trusted advisor
  • Collaborate with partner ecosystem teams
  • Align with Solutions Engineering and Customer Success Management

Requirements

  • Experience in quota-carrying sales roles
  • Background in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, or Enterprise IT Solutions
  • Sales methodology training (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger)
  • Proven success in executing complex sales strategies
  • Track record of hitting sales quotas
  • Ability to articulate business value to various business sizes
  • Experience in process development and change management
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Open to travel as needed
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred
