Compliance Manager - Customer Compliance & Chargebacks - Remote

Overview

The Compliance Manager will lead our customer compliance and chargeback defense initiatives within our distribution center, ensuring adherence to routing guides and shipping requirements of major retail partners.

In Short

• Lead chargeback management and dispute resolution.
• Monitor and investigate customer deductions and compliance chargebacks.
• Partner with Finance to reconcile deductions.
• Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert on vendor manuals.
• Develop SOPs for warehouse operations based on customer shipping requirements.
• Oversee EDI compliance and prevent EDI-related fines.
• Perform root-cause analysis on chargebacks.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to implement corrective actions.
• Generate KPI scorecards for leadership.
• Act as a liaison between warehouse and sales/account management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years in warehouse operations or supply chain.
• Experience with retail customer compliance and chargeback management.
• Hands-on experience with major retailer vendor portals.
• Understanding of EDI transactions and barcode labeling standards.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
• Attention to detail and strong investigative skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to influence change without direct authority.
