The Compliance Manager plays a vital role in supporting Gravie's commitment to understanding and adhering to the intricate regulatory landscape governing health benefits. This individual will be a key contributor in shaping our compliance operations, providing essential guidance on cutting-edge plan designs, and actively fostering a culture of integrity.

In Short

  • Monitor changes in federal and state healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Analyze the impact of new or revised regulations on Gravie's operations.
  • Support the project management and implementation of new regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the review and maintenance of Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs).
  • Provide compliance assistance on health plan design and administration.
  • Facilitate and track state regulatory filings.
  • Support response efforts to regulatory inquiries and complaints.
  • Help develop processes to document compliance activities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to influence stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of integrity and attention to detail in compliance operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare compliance.
  • Knowledge of ERISA and the Affordable Care Act.
  • Experience with plan documents and benefit administration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Project management skills are a plus.
  • Government reporting experience is a plus.
