In Short

• Monitor adherence to legal, contractual, health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across landfill and gas portfolio.
• Compile reports, monitor targets, and undertake targeted audits.
• Support operations with training and management systems.
• Regular travel across the country is required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and procedures.
• Manage and support both internal and external audits.
• Track and report on KPIs including contract compliance.
• Maintain Biffa’s EHS and ISO standards on site.
• Support incident investigations and deliver clear reports.
• Liaise with the Biffa HSQ team for expert guidance.

Requirements

• Experience in compliance management.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Strong auditing skills.
• Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
• Ability to track and report KPIs effectively.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Strong analytical skills for incident investigations.
• Proficient in maintaining compliance documentation.
• Experience in environmental regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
