Market Research Director - Remote

Overview

This position plays a critical role in shaping Compeer’s client understanding, competitive positioning, and strategic focus. The incumbent oversees the enterprise-wide research agenda including both primary and secondary research, to generate actionable insights that guide strategic growth, client experience, and brand development.

• Leads development and implementation of Compeer’s enterprise research agenda.
• Oversees primary research efforts including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and usability testing.
• Manages Compeer Collective, the enterprise’s client insight panel.
• Oversees NPS and OSAT measurement and ensures proper survey methodologies are used.
• Partners with Marketing, Business Units, and Client Experience teams to gather actionable feedback across the client journey.
• Guides segmentation, persona development, and journey mapping initiatives to support omnichannel strategy.
• Leads secondary research, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis to inform enterprise and business unit strategy.
• Provides actionable insights related to client behavior, industry dynamics, market sizing, growth forecasting, and business model innovation.
• Synthesizes research findings into strategic recommendations for senior leaders.
• Develops frameworks for strategic foresight and scenario planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expert-level of experience in market research, insights, or strategy consulting.
• Advanced-level of leadership and management experience preferred.
• Proven track record of independently leading complex enterprise initiatives.
• Experience in financial services, healthcare, or a top-tier market research agency is strongly preferred.
• Strong technical proficiency in data analysis and research.
• Ability to synthesize large volumes of data into high-impact insights.
• Deep understanding of the client journey and how to leverage feedback.
• Strong command of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
