Overview

As a key part of the GTM team at Column, your mandate is to build relationships with and sell into credit-related accounts, collaborating with leadership to identify and close opportunities in credit & lending.

In Short

  • Own high-potential accounts and execute the sales cycle for credit partnerships.
  • Drive discovery and navigate large organizations to overcome objections.
  • Contribute to the sales playbook and processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of Column’s credit products for thought leadership.
  • Deliver solutions for innovative customers in partnership with teams.
  • Build strong relationships as a trusted advisor with decision makers.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment with Column’s API suite.
  • Work cross-functionally to navigate discovery, scoping, and negotiation.
  • Perform activities consistent with safe business practices and regulations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a client-facing role.
  • Background in credit, lending, or fintech is a plus.
  • Ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Experience managing deal cycles and influencing through negotiation.
  • Experience selling complex, technical products to sophisticated buyers.
  • Proven success in ambiguous environments with high quality execution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial services.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new things.
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
