Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, corporate Business Development Officer to hunt for and close new business, as well as retain and grow key clients at Coface, a company that helps businesses navigate trade uncertainties.

In Short

  • Achieves annual revenue objectives through consultative sales to new clients and renewal of existing policies.
  • Builds a portfolio of business aligned with Coface's strategic growth and retention goals.
  • Generates leads from banks, insurance agencies, and direct cold calling.
  • Markets and sells specialized financial products to corporations.
  • Services new and existing clients by monitoring their programs and coverage.
  • Researches and recommends prospects for new business opportunities.
  • Attends workshops for professional skill development.
  • Stays current with trends and competitors to identify improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ proven experience selling B2B; financial, banking or insurance solutions a plus.
  • Experience with Trade Credit Insurance is a plus.
  • Cold-calling and new business skills required.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and retention.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Robust network in designated territory.
  • Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a P&C License.
