Overview

The Business Development Officer at Celtic Bank is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Small Business Administration (SBA) customer relationships, focusing on business development, risk management, operations, underwriting, and relationship management.

In Short

• Originate SBA loans, equipment leasing, and ABL financing transactions for small businesses nationwide.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with customers and brokers marketing to small business owners.
• Utilize networking and referrals to generate business leads.
• Expand market penetration in assigned locations.
• Demonstrate Celtic Bank’s entrepreneurial lending philosophy.
• Collaborate with the Chief Business Development Officer on marketing strategies.
• Generate leads and submit loan packages to underwriting.
• Recognize credit opportunities and present funding solutions.
• Achieve annual production goals.
• Utilize Salesforce and other systems to support deal flow.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development and sales.
• Strong understanding of SBA loans and financing options.
• Excellent relationship management skills.
