Account Executive - Remote

Overview

This role is responsible for generating new business within an assigned geographic and customer-based territory. Account Executives will sell specific products and services to city and county governments within their region.

In Short

• Sell web-based software solutions to local governments within the assigned territory
• Meet or exceed assigned territory goals
• Forecast business within the territory accurately
• Work with lead-generation, technical and support staff
• Qualify potential opportunities
• Generate new opportunities through prospecting
• Maintain excellent documentation
• Close new business through sales cycles
• Develop consultative relationships with local governments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related fields
• Strong persuasive and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Experience in competitive markets preferred
• Proven track record of selling software application deals preferred
