Director of RWD Business Development - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking our first Sales and Business Development hire to work with the Chief Business Officer and founding team in driving revenue by securing strategic biopharma clients.

In Short

• Manage a pipeline of top accounts focusing globally on rare diseases.
• Build business relationships in the rare disease biotech and pharmaceutical space.
• Present Citizen offerings to customers dynamically.
• Support recruitment and training of new sales team members.
• Collaborate with marketing to create sales materials and campaigns.
• Gather customer feedback for product development.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% over time.
• 7+ years of sales experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of the biotech and pharmaceutical market.

Requirements

• Experience selling into biotech and pharma at the executive level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences preferred.
