Overview

As a Territory Sales Representative at ZEISS, you will be responsible for generating new sales of the Vision Device Portfolio directly to Eye Care Professionals while developing new business opportunities and maintaining excellent product knowledge.

In Short

  • Meet or exceed sales goals in assigned territory.
  • Complete all required pre and post sales tasks accurately.
  • Prospect and qualify potential customers through appointment setting and cold calls.
  • Utilize Company’s CRM tool for tracking customer contacts.
  • Provide technical product information and procedure expertise.
  • Build relationships and establish credibility with customers.
  • Attend trade shows and events to generate new business opportunities.
  • Perform training and troubleshooting at client sites.
  • Travel at least 80% of the time.
  • Work independently with a disciplined approach to selling.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in optical or capital equipment sales.
  • Strong sales focus and ability to forecast sales accurately.
  • Effective consultative and negotiation skills.
  • General understanding of anatomy and physiology of the eye.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Experience in creating plans to achieve revenue goals.
