Quality Assurance Tester - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

In Short

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Perform functional, UI, regression, and cross-browser testing to identify and document defects.
• Log and track issues in JIRA, working closely with developers and product managers.
• Write and execute basic MySQL and Postgres queries to validate backend data.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define test strategies.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Provide clear and detailed documentation for test cases and bug reports.
• Ability to work standard business hours aligned with U.S. time zones.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of test case design and defect tracking.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA.
• Experience with SQL for data validation.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Experience with AI testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with functional, regression, UI, and exploratory testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
