Overview

We are looking for an Event Manager (Direct Sales) to take ownership of Wallonia’s events strategy, expanding our reach and ensuring we deliver impactful in-person experiences.

In Short

  • Develop an events roadmap to secure 200+ events across Wallonia.
  • Build strong relationships with event organisers.
  • Negotiate event deals, keeping costs aligned with department KPIs.
  • Plan & forecast sales performance, reporting to the wider teams.
  • Coordinate event logistics for smooth execution.
  • Secure accommodation for the event team & manage travel logistics.
  • Track KPIs, using data to refine and optimise the event strategy.
  • Explore new opportunities for Direct Sales activations.
  • Support with the recruitment of French speaking Brand Ambassadors.
  • Work closely with the Direct Sales Manager and fellow Event Managers.

Requirements

  • Based in Wallonia with strong local knowledge.
  • Excellent communicator in English & French.
  • Super organised with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Detail-focused and logical problem solver.
  • 2+ years experience in an office/project coordination role.
  • Confident in Google Sheets, KPI tracking & reporting.
  • Strong negotiator.
  • A culture builder for the Wallonia team.
  • Excited to help scale Butternut Box in Wallonia.
