Overview

The Brooks Technical Representative will lead and execute the field support strategy in all distribution channels located within their respective territory to increase market share, amplify Brooks’ product leadership, and create recognition, awareness and loyalty for the brand.

In Short

  • Support Sales and Marketing teams with product launches and merchandising.
  • Educate retailers and consumers about Brooks technology and product leadership.
  • Communicate brand positioning and competitor activity.
  • Provide feedback through CRM to measure effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Represent Brooks at running events and expos.
  • Manage implementation of POS materials.
  • Engage with consumers and promote brand awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in Athletic Specialty.
  • 2+ years of Marketing/Sales experience in the sports industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand the impact of decisions on various stakeholders.
  • Innovation and initiative in improving products and processes.
  • Basic knowledge of retail math and inventory management.
  • Understanding of local running community and related technologies.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
  • Driver's license required.
