Overview

As a Brooks Guru, you will lead Brooks’ field support strategy in all distribution channels located within your respective territory to increase market share and sell-through at retail, amplify Brooks' product leadership, and build recognition, awareness, and loyalty for the brand.

In Short

  • Lead and manage overall field support efforts for Brooks.
  • Support Sales and Marketing teams with product launches and merchandising.
  • Collaborate on the success of National Account sell-through programs.
  • Educate and motivate retail associates and runners about Brooks products.
  • Represent Brooks at national and local running events and expos.
  • Complete weekly field notes and provide product feedback.
  • Feature in product videos and educational platforms as needed.
  • Manage a yearly product seeding and corporate card budget.
  • Maintain company vehicle and Brooks equipment.
  • Extensive travel required; able to work weekends and extended hours.

Requirements

  • Willing to live within an agreed radius of the sales territory.
  • BA or BS degree in Marketing/Sales/Retail Management or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of Marketing/Sales/Retail experience required.
  • Outdoor, Sports or Athletic industry experience highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of performance athletic footwear and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of biomechanics and injury prevention basics preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of retail math and inventory management.
  • Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand the sport of running and develop authentic relationships.
